Good news

Starting with some upbeat news:

Thanks to some major-league influencing by EFT’s top tappers Nick and Jessica Ortner, this website was visited so often last week that my book jumped onto the Amazon Best Seller list, as #4 in the Energy Healing category.   

Here’s the interview with Jessica that triggered the surge: : https://www.thetappingsolution.com/blog/the-evolution-of-energy-medicine-an-interview-with-pioneer-dr-rick-leskowitz/

An unexpected blurb

And much to my amazement, I recently received an email from one of the founding fathers of the Human Potential Movement, apologizing for his belated response to my request for a book blurb. It was from Ken Wilber(!), and it was certainly better late than never. His blurb is now posted prominently on the website (Testimonials; https://themysteryoflifeenergy.com/advance-praise-2/), where he is ID’d as the founder of Integral Psychology and the author of Up from Eden and 34 other books (not a misprint!).

An extra bonus was the Zoom call we shared a few weeks ago (this screen grab provides cheek-pinching proof that it really happened). The video has not yet been cleared for posting, but my fingers are crossed on that. Ken was very down-to-earth, even though I felt like a high school physics student talking to Einstein.

And for those who are surprised that he has abandoned his iconic shaved-head look, here’s a brief explanation of why he now wears a wig: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eoCB3FlAeiQ&t=1s&ab_channel=IntegralLife

A metaphor

I’ll finish with a photographic image that has a deep resonance for me. Maybe I’m reading too much into it – see what you think.

This photo shows how our rooftop array of solar panels was recently covered by a dusting of snow, leaving it temporarily unable to generate any electricity. However, there was one crack along the  lower edge that showed through to the underlying panel, and when I knocked away a few more square inches of icy snow  with my rubberized panel brush, the sunlight was able to start doing its work – first warming up the exposed dark panels and melting away the adjacent snow covering until, inch by inch, each panel will again be exposed to direct sunlight so that the entire roof-top array can be firing away on all cylinders. It’s a slow process, but one that’s as inevitable as the seasons.

And so it will be with humanity, I hope. We each have to break free from the old ways of thinking that have frozen us into place, separated us from each other, forced us to rely on oppressive ways of relating with one another in our economy and society by using “power over” rather than “power with” to move things along.  Hopefully, now that the ice is slowly melting, our current state of political turmoil can be the catalyst to a new form of freedom yet to emerge, where we generate energy from our own inner resources –  not dependent of “the grid” of media and corporate power, but interdependent on each other as we build our positive new future.

Let the sunshine in!
